Who we are
We build the spaces businesses open in.
City Contractors is a commercial general contractor based in Mississauga, working across Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. We build dental practices, medical clinics and pharmacies on one side of the business — restaurants, retail and workplaces on the other.
What connects them is a deadline somebody else set. A lease start. A franchisor's opening date. A practice that has already told its patients when it reopens. The build only counts if it lands on that date — everything we do is organised around that one fact.
So we walk the unit before we quote it, we tell you plainly when a timeline isn't achievable, and we put the assumptions behind a price in writing. A less exciting pitch than most contractors make — and the reason our clients open on the day they said they would.

Three things we do differently.

We say no to dates we can't hit
If your opening date isn't achievable, you hear it at the walkthrough — not in month three, when you have already announced an opening.

One price, assumptions written down
A fixed number and the list of what it assumes. When something genuinely changes, you can see exactly which assumption moved, and why.

One project manager and a weekly update you can forward straight to your partners or your franchisor. A direct line of communication, with no runaround and no chasing three people for one answer.

Three provinces, one standard.
We travel for work that suits us. If your site sits outside these regions, ask anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we are the right firm for it.
