Who we are

R&S City Contracting Inc., operating as City Contractors, is a commercial general contractor at 966 Pantera Drive, Unit 28, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 2S1.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form on this site. There are three:

• Enquiry form — name, email, phone, project type, location, target date and your message
• Careers form — name, email, phone, the role you are applying for, years in the trade and what you have built
• Subcontractor form — company name, email, phone, your primary trade, areas you cover and details about your crew

Each submission also records the page you sent it from, so we know which part of the site brought you to us.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial details, government identification, or health information through these forms.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. That is the whole purpose.

An enquiry is used to prepare a response and, if it goes further, a quote. A careers submission is used to consider you for a role. A subcontractor registration is used to contact you when a job suits your trade.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list because you asked us for a price.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in this website's own database, hosted on our web server, and are also emailed to our office.

Access to the stored submissions is limited to people at City Contractors who need it to do their job. The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted in transit.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that become projects — kept for the life of the project and afterwards as part of our business records
• Enquiries that do not proceed — kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us
• Job applications — kept for one year, then deleted
• Subcontractor registrations — kept while you remain on our list, and removed on request

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.

Cookies and tracking

This site stores one small piece of data in your browser: which side of our business you were last looking at — medical or commercial — so the site stays on that side as you move between pages.

It is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, it is not sent to us, and it contains nothing that identifies you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

WordPress may set functional cookies if you log in to the site. Ordinary visitors are not logged in and are not given one.

Third parties

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some imagery and animation libraries from public content delivery networks. Those providers receive your IP address as a normal part of serving a file, as they would for any website.

We do not run advertising trackers, social pixels or analytics profiling on this site.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Ontario's provincial rules, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it
• Explain how it has been used

Email info@citycontractors.ca with your request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
